APELSO 2026 will take place June 11?13, 2026 at the Hamamatsucho Convention Hall in Tokyo's Central Business District. This prestigious gathering will welcome more than 500 delegates from throughout the the world. Tokyo was chosen as the ideal host city due to its strong academic environment and distinguished contributions to the field of extracorporeal life support. This conference builds upon Japan's rich history with APELSO, having previously hosted in Kyoto in 2015. The successful bid to bring APELSO 2026 to Tokyo was made possible through the generous support of the Tokyo Convention and Visitors Bureau, highlighting the city's commitment to advancing medical excellence and fostering international collaboration.
APELSO 2026 will bring together world-class experts, researchers, and educators in a dynamic forum designed to advance our collective understanding and application of extracorporeal life support technologies. Over three enriching days, participants will have the opportunity to discuss cutting-edge advances, attend the hands-on-sessions, share original research findings, and collaborate on refining best practices that will ultimately benefit patients throughout the world.
